Per Eduventures® 2017 Survey of Admitted Students
Websites are the most used and useful sources of information during the college selection journey, said 90 percent of students headed to college in response to the 2017 Survey of Admitted Students, an annual survey by Eduventures®, the research division of NRCCUA®.
Most of the respondents (94 percent) were headed to four-year institutions. The survey was conducted during May and June 2017 and gathered responses from 100,000 students.
The high school students were asked to rank which sources of information were most useful during their college selection journey as well as which sources they used most. Note, totals in each section will not add up to 100 because the respondents were asked to mark all of the answer options they used, then rank by how useful they found each option.
Below are their responses.
