Greg Hafemann has over ten years of experience in higher ed and specializes in finance, procurement, operations, and strategic initiatives. Hafemann helped launch Collegis Education and incubate Collegis Professional, and prior to that, served as vice president of strategic operations with Rasmussen College. In his role with Rasmussen, his leadership in the areas of real estate, procurement and operations led to annual savings of greater than $10 million.
One of Hafemann’s first roles in higher ed was as a teaching assistant at the University of Wisconsin–Madison where he taught a full section of accounting to undergraduate students.

Proper planning and risk management can save a lot of pain.

While I do fall back on my education and experience, what is just as helpful is to approach a complex problem with a willingness to try new things. I’m not afraid to get into the details to find the right solution.
