Kim Fahey Named President and CEO of Collegis Education

James E. Cowie to continue as Chairman of the Board

OAK BROOK, IL (December 13, 2023) — Collegis Education announced recently that Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) Kim Fahey is the company’s new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Previous President and CEO James E. Cowie will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board for the higher education innovation enabler.

Fahey joined Collegis as CIO in 2014. During her tenure, she has led numerous business and technology initiatives for the company, helping to build its current foundational structure and vision for the future. Prior to joining Collegis, Fahey was Vice President of Information Technology at R.R. Donnelley. She has a bachelor of arts in industrial distribution management from the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign.

“Kim has played an integral role in growing our technology managed services business and provided key leadership in product management and recruitment as well as technology guidance for our enrollment growth business. Her leadership was critical in forging our partnership with Google to help colleges and universities leverage data to make informed decisions, create a more unified student experience and drive student success,” said Cowie. “I’m confident that with Kim leading the Collegis team we will see even more innovation and creative partnerships that will continue to grow and enhance our ability to provide colleges and universities with the support they need to leverage data to increase enrollment, better serve students, and realize their academic missions.”

Collegis also announced that Kenneth Ender, President Emeritus of William Rainey Harper College and Professor of the Practice, Belk Center for Community College Leadership and Research, Graduate School of Education, North Carolina State University, joined its board of directors as executive committee chair.
