Collegis to provide fully outsourced technology solutions
that address the most pressing needs of higher education institutions
and align with University objectives
CHICAGO (July 27, 2017)—Collegis Education, a higher education-focused marketing and technology solutions provider, today announced Cabrini University, a Catholic, liberal-arts university located in Radnor, Pa., has selected Collegis to provide IT managed services effective immediately. The six-year partnership includes:
- End-to-end support for the core applications and integrations needed to efficiently run the University, including SIS, LMS, website, email, portal, financials, reporting, human resources, etc.
- The underlying infrastructure and network backbone for these applications.
- Security oversite and governance to protect student data and reduce institutional exposure.
- 24×7 personal support center to support the day-to-day needs of more than 2,300 students and 400 faculty and staff.
- IT staff providing architecture, engineering, administration and support services.
“We could not be more thrilled to begin partnering with Cabrini University on its technology needs and help them continue to achieve enrollment growth, attain higher levels of student and faculty satisfaction and create innovative learning solutions,” said Kim Fahey, chief information officer, Collegis Education. “When Cabrini first came to us looking for a new IT managed services provider, we knew our partnering approach would provide the visibility and flexibility they need to align their technology needs with the University’s mission and objectives. Our technology services will help Cabrini provide an exceptional student and faculty experience, drive operational efficiencies across the student lifecycle, optimize the use of technology and allow the University to focus on their mission while we focus on their technology operations. We are committed to providing a robust, scalable and secure technology environment that enables Cabrini to meet both their strategic and tactical needs.”
The fully outsourced IT agreement is an extension of Collegis Education’s more than three-year relationship with Cabrini University. In 2014, Collegis began partnering with Cabrini on finding ways to help the University stand out locally and achieve undergraduate growth in the Philadelphia area. Through a collaboration of digital marketing with Cabrini’s recruitment strategies, Collegis helped the University gain its largest incoming undergraduate class in nearly a decade for fall 2016.
“We’re excited to expand our partnership with Collegis Education as they have been a key partner supporting our enrollment and marketing efforts as well as the rollout of our new website during my presidency at Cabrini University,” said Dr. Donald Taylor, president, Cabrini University. “Moving forward, Collegis will play a key role as we upgrade our IT infrastructure and deliver online academic programs to support different populations of learners in support of our Cabrini 2020 Roadmap to Growth strategic plan. I could not have chosen a better organization to assist in growing Cabrini University and helping us meet our strategic goals.”
