Collegis to focus on growing the College’s online programs

MINNEAPOLIS (July 14, 2017)—Collegis Education, a higher education-focused marketing and technology solutions provider, today announced Saint Joseph’s College of Maine has selected Collegis to help the college attract, enroll and engage more online students using industry-leading digital marketing and technology solutions. Founded in 1912 by the Sisters of Mercy, who’s Critical Concerns continue to inform its core values, Saint Joseph’s College is Maine’s only Catholic liberal arts college. The 474-acre campus, located on the shore of Sebago Lake in Standish, Maine, offers more than 40 undergraduate programs and a Division III athletic program to a population of approximately 1,000 on-campus students. In 2015, the College was selected by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching to receive its Community Engagement Classification, highlighting the College’s focus on community service within local, regional and global communities. In addition to its on-campus programs, Saint Joseph’s College also provides certificates, undergraduate and advanced degrees to thousands of working adults who reside throughout the United States and in more than 20 other countries through an online learning program. Collegis officially began working with Saint Joseph’s College in January.

“We are excited to begin this new relationship with Saint Joseph’s College of Maine and help them grow their already-established online portfolio through enrollment, marketing and technology solutions designed to reach today’s student,” said Susan Hammerstrom, senior vice president, Collegis Education. “A pioneer in online and distance education, Saint Joseph’s College has a rich history in educating adults in different phases of life — from traditional undergraduate students on campus to working professionals online from the United States and across the world. We are honored to partner with the College and look forward to helping expand their student population for years to come.”

With more than two decades of higher education experience, Collegis Education specializes in addressing the challenges institutions face to reach students, grow enrollments and improve student outcomes. It uses an integrated approach to enrollment growth, which includes tailored digital marketing and technology solutions that look at the entire student journey.

“Collegis Education has helped bring a fresh perspective on how the higher education market has changed in recent years, as well as how students today want to be engaged,” said Lynne Robinson, vice president of enrollment management at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. “My team is especially pleased with the quality of engagements we’ve had with prospective students since working with Collegis, and we look forward to continuing to enhance our enrollment process.”

“Additionally, we are pleased with the guidance Collegis has provided on various program opportunities,” said Michael Pardales, vice president & chief learning officer, Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. “In today’s highly competitive market, it’s crucial for colleges and universities to differentiate their programs by looking at factors such as value, outcomes and regional trends. Collegis gives us that outside perspective we need to meet today’s students where they are at in their journey so that we can help them achieve their final educational goals.”
