Rasmussen University Blog Network selected among 12,000 entries as an official honoree
MINNEAPOLIS (May 5, 2014)–Collegis Education, a technology-based education services company, is proud to announce the Rasmussen University Blog Network has been selected as an Official Honoree in The 18th Annual Webby Awards. Collegis Education developed and maintains the blog network, which won in the Blog–Business category, on behalf of Rasmussen University. The Official Honoree distinction is awarded to the top 20 percent of all work entered that exhibits remarkable achievement. This year, there were more than 12,000 entries from all 50 states and more than 60 countries.

The Rasmussen University Blog Network consists of 11 different blogs featuring articles related to seven schools of study, career services and online learning. Blog articles consist of industry tips and insight that align with the degree programs offered at Rasmussen, as well as tools to help students be successful in every step of their educational or career path. There is also a main blog that highlights campus achievements and events, as well as a college life blog that shares articles about post-secondary experiences and knowledge.
Hailed as the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet.
